About us
The Froggy Mountain Brothers is a duet formed by brothers Laurent and Robin Holliger, hailing from various mountaineous regions in and around France (hence the "Froggy Mountain"). We play mostly bluegrass and early country music in the brother duet tradition.

Influences
Our musical influences are mostly early pioneers of bluegrass and early country. Our main influences include Bill Monroe (& the Monroe Brothers), the Stanley Brothers, Jim & Jesse, Flatt & Scruggs, Reno & Smiley, the Carter Family, and many other related artists. Some more particular influences are Uncle Dave Macon and Old-Time music, as well as 19th century minstrel & Civil War songs.
